“Sad girl” digital
This picture describes my inner state at a certain point in my life.
So, I will never forget the 24th, on this day they woke me up with the words "sun, we have a war." I remember how I immediately began to read the news and call relatives. Everyone fled somewhere, collected things, paid, no one understood what to do. I was then in Lvov, far from my relatives. The first couple of days were the hardest. I went to different friends all over Ukraine, hoping that soon I would be able to get home. Everyone tried to help each other and it was great. After some time, I was still able to come home and finally exhale. Over time, you get used to the war, you get used to the fact that your relatives go to the front line to protect your house, you get used to waking up from anxiety and running to the basement. Now my brother is in the war and protecting my home, and I'm waiting for him to finally be able to return to us. Drawing helped me take my mind off all these events. And it's magical how we all came together. And I am very grateful to all those artists who draw in support of Ukraine. It is important to talk about this and it is important to remember this, it is scary when people die in a senseless war.
